Perfectly located along the bypass of National Route 7 and also in the vicinity of the Tsuruoka Interchange of the Yamagata Expressway, its emblematic fire tower with Nezumi Kozo climbing up and down draws attention. This facility houses an extensive range of shops, including a fish market selling fresh seafood, a branded product section in which a variety of local specialties from around the prefecture, including food from mountains and farms, is gathered, as well as restaurants, a light meal corner, and a tourist information desk. Its ample parking area ensures enjoyable visits even for tourists and families, who are travelling in large crowds.

Yura Onsen

Hakusan Island(Hakusanjima)

Hakusan Island, a symbolic figure off the Yura Coast, is a small island 70 meters high and 436 meters about, and is said to have been created as a result of volcanic eruptions. There is also a trail allowing for a walk around the island. In the summer, the island is lit up to showcase a beautiful landscape. There is also a fishing pond.
