The intercity express service is operated everyday, with overnight and daytime services, connecting the Shonai area with various places in Japan. Three-seat row buses with ample space between independent reclining seats are used for the overnight service to provide you with comfortable travels.

Limousine Bus is the airport shuttle bus service connecting the Shonai Airport to the downtowns of Tsuruoka and Sakata. It also offers good access to major spots in the cities, such as the surrounding areas of the industrial estate in Tsuruoka, JR Sakata Station and the Shoko Bus Terminal.
