Perfectly located along the bypass of National Route 7 and also in the vicinity of the Tsuruoka Interchange of the Yamagata Expressway, its emblematic fire tower with Nezumi Kozo climbing up and down draws attention. This facility houses an extensive range of shops, including a fish market selling fresh seafood, a branded product section in which a variety of local specialties from around the prefecture, including food from mountains and farms, is gathered, as well as restaurants, a light meal corner, and a tourist information desk. Its ample parking area ensures enjoyable visits even for tourists and families, who are travelling in large crowds.

Yura Omen is located along a beautiful coastline that has been selected as one of Japan’s best 100 beaches.At minshuku(private homes that run inns providing mom and board),guests can eat dishes made from fresh fish and relax in an at-home atmosphere.The contrast between the silhouette of the vemfillion-lacquered bridge connecting to Hakusan Island and the sun setting over the Sea of Japan is gorgeously picturesque.
Hakusan Island, a symbolic figure off the Yura Coast, is a small island 70 meters high and 436 meters about, and is said to have been created as a result of volcanic eruptions. There is also a trail allowing for a walk around the island. In the summer, the island is lit up to showcase a beautiful landscape. There is also a fishing pond.
The hot spring waters of Atsumi Onsen have been open for 1000 years.The mild hot springs and murmur of clear springs create a delightful onsen area.There are many accommodations boasting high-quality hot springs,cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients,and warm hospitality.
